DAY 3:
Well its really a combination of an hour the other day and about 2hours today.
Spent a while try to get the wings off and see whats under there and finding out that the wings had been welded on, also found some big holes on the inner wings so they will either be renewed or plates welded in there!
Ive also got a leak in the sunroof which i dont need to bother fixing as that will most probs be going so i can fit my new toy into the car which is my full 6 point cage made by saftey devices picked up for the rather expensive £80 with door bars and i need to make a cross bar for it!
also took the rear spoiler off hench the duck tape over those holes!

Doubt it's hard to find, you can still get new front ends for Vivas...

yeah parts are not to bad to source, have got a few big books at work with diagrams of what you can get patern panels and thankfully i can get most parts!
they do repair panels for the inner wings but i dont know how far they go down so may need to weld some plates in my self and tbh you cant see them so aslong as there in place they just hold the wings and bonnet on and its all good!

and also for the person who asked i had to just angle grind them off, not a big job really but will need to make some proper holes for them to bolt on when i do it!
i hate things that are bodged up badly, u can do a good bodge but its a hell of alot different from a bad one!

UPDATE : 14 - 06 - 07
So havent had an update in donkeys now, the car is now out of the winter storage and have managed to rent a garage off a mate where its nice and dry to work on!
The car is more stripped than what is in the pics but dont have any pics of it at the moment but i have started to buy things for it!
First off i have bought some very nice Porsche Silver Rose Wheels.
Never seen these before but unfortunatly they came in a shitty metalflake colour so are going to be refurbed with gloss black centers and polished lips, these also come with alloy caps which arent cheap in themselves!
Front wheels: 7j x 16
Rear wheels and main reason i bought them : 9j x 16
Both together:
Also have some FK adaptors on there way and also a mercedes sprinter vent and 3 door solnoieds in the post, this will hopefully happen quickly as the boss is going away on holiday for 2 weeks in about 5 weeks time so wana get it all complete for then so i can take it in and spray it when i decide on the colour!
