I took that into account, but he's more experienced now (Pennant) I don't care what he did at Arsenal, I care about how he plays now, and IMO he's a quality player, but I respect your views on it.

I don't agree with Liverpool making poor signings, you've basically said Bellamy wants to prove himself, so that will make him try hard, hard work= goals and assists success.
Pennant is a great signing, surrounded with good players he will come good, I like how he shifts the ball to the other foot and skips past opposition, his acceleration 'with' the ball is better than most players without it.
agreed.
I think they are both great signings...they have the potential with good players around them to be great signing. They are both British. They both didnt cost 10's of millions!
Plus you've forgotten about our other signings Robbo...Gonzalez who has electric pace and a great left foot. Aurellio who should be Brazils first choice left back now Carlos is getting older. And Palleta who is a solid, no nonsense central defender and is stil really young.

Ronaldo - Needs to control his happy feet and could be brilliant
Giggs - Awesome, still pretty quick imo
Scholes - Experienced and the back bone of the midfield
Park - Bit iffy, occasionally plays really well
Fletcher - Pretty crap!
O' Shea - Pretty crap! Forgettable perfomances
Richardson - Brilliant, the next Giggs

I watched Gonzalez alot last year on sky, he could outrun a Ferrari Marinello up the strip
Fabio Aurellio is good, but to get in the left back spot for Brazil over Gustavo Nery, Junior, Rubens Junio and Gilberto, will be quite a task

I can see the headlines now:
Sxi04 in strange "Fletcher is better than Henry and Van Nistelrooy" equation shocker!
My point was he's clearly not shit, maybe not good enough for the man u first team, but believe me i have watched him countless times and he is a good footballer.
