Wen i came storming out the house 2 security lights came on .. and that's wen i thought the kid messin with the car had legg'd it to the car * Hense why i ran for the car and nailed the driver  as he wheel spun off ...

And i recently snapped my cruitate ligament in my knee playing football .. had an operations to sort it .. and other week it decided to snap .. Doctor told me not to do anything athletic .

Thanks to the person who got the car details 
Ye same ere, but ive been workin on my car from this morning ... totally inhilated the teerin lock they had snapped the wires from the back of the switch
I tried to hot wire it, as they wud ave done ... It wouldn't have gone anywhere without my key ( Chip inside ) The EM light wud ave flashed and it wunt ave started either ...
So in reality .. it was pointless . . . . but now aload of work to get wheel off and drill the threads out for a new steering lock

i havent read all of this thread, just skimmed over it but did you say that the car was definately stolen?
if by any chance it wasnt and you want personal details then contact the DVLA and ask them for a details retrieval form or something like that (cant remember what its properly called). It'll cost £2 but thats nothing if you get sweet revenge out of it. When they ask what you want the details for claim that you had a bump with them and they drove off (excuse I used) then within 28 days you'll get a letter with the owners name, home address and other contact details etc. Then go about your business 
Thats what I did when some scum tried doing my car over
