Huddersfield - Mcapline Stadium or the Galpharm Stadium, think it changed
Someone in the conference has the Pirelli stadium, Burton Albion I think.
Then yeah the Kingston Communications Stadium.
But yeah, i'd take a stadium for free if it meant calling it The EasyJet or The Vauxhall Stadium.
Yesh!

looks just like emirates except seating at emirates is a constant flow and these seem to stop in the corners for the struts.

It will be sad loosing the history of Anfield but their is nothing we can do. Its developed as much as the area will allow and god knows they have tried to find a way to stay there but its just not posisble or cost effective.
We need to keep up with Utd and Arsenal in terms of money being brought in via larger capacity stadiums, and 60k will help us do this.
The original plan was for 75k but the cost of this was huge (there is a massive jump for anything over 60k) and we couldnt afford this (although it would easily of been filled week in week out) so it was dropped to 60k but with the ability to easily increase in the future which is the main thing IMO.
And as for the design, again its another no choice thing. We cant afford some elaboate design and this is the most cost effective way to build a new stadium these days.
And lastly, as for the name....it wont be the Calsberg stadium as that deal runs out at the end of this season (although if Calsberg build stadiums...) but I still expect it to be sponsered as much as the board have tried not to loose the Anfield name.

Arsenal ran several polls for seaosn tickets holders, website users etc to see what peopel wanted and most acepted the sponsorship idea as people will still call it what they want!

New Anfield has been touted about alot, and will probably be called that by fans even if it does get sponsored.

Yeah thats what my season ticket holding cousin said, he wasn't bothered as he won't necessarily call it The Emirates anyway.

Aye, fans tend to call it Ashburton Grove(certainly the locals anyway!) or just Highbury as our old stadium was actually called Arsenal Stadium NOT Highbury

Aye its called the Galpharm Stadium now
Reason it was called McAlpine Stadium was cos they were the company that built it for us, will always be known as that to the fans anyways. TBH as already said if someone is willing to pay ££££ just to put a name to a stadium a club would be daft to turn it down.
I like you Nath much prefer going to "traditional" grounds. Dont get me wrong, a lot of the new Stadia I have been to have all been very nice, but they dont have a "feel" to them as they are more or less the same. You could be anywhere, the only that lets you know where you are is the colour of the seats.
IMO you cant beat going to somewhere like Rottherham, where your all packed into a shitty little end which looks like it is going to colapse at any given minute, eating a half cooked pie and drinking shit tea/coffee. That to me is what football is all about, not having fancy padded chairs and gormet meals at half time
