Ok. My serious reasoning for why it shouldnt be.

Theres already 3 sub forums to offday. If you add another (in this case House Day) that might not be too bad BUT, then you'll get people saying lets have Joke Day and Video Day and so on. So I think the line has to be drawn somewhere otherwise the site will become a chore to navigate around.

Thats my thinking behind no.

TBH, I felt the same about Match day. total waste of time IMO, but its worked for anyone who has an unhealthy obsession with men in shorts.

House Day would be good for anyone looking to buy, or who has an intrest in decorating, TVs, Fish, Pets, gardening, ponds, cooking, whatever...

there is loads of stuff in OD which could be moved to HD so it was all in one easy to view space.

Jokes and Videos would always be in OD, but i still think HD is needed.

but there weren't many posts about photography til snap day was started, and there is more about football now Match Day is about.

House Day should have a trial like Match Day did

I've said all along, I like the idea but I don't think there's traffic to justify it. Then we got some views of Gateshead and a thread about light switches.

If someone can do me a quick scan through the existing threads and get a list of house related stuff and we'll look at the dates on the posts and work out the pace from that we can make a decision.
