I was constant throughout the day with my times - i still had some interior too!
Im planning for low 14's when im done if not quicker
The only person i've seen get remotly into the low 15's was good old "Patricks" Corsa. That ran the cough "throttle bodies" set, that still ran through 1 throttle body chamber. (Not the Dbalis style Manztel version). Think he had cams etc... Claimed 170bhp and a 15.2 1/4 mile....
I know a couple of people have got high 15's, but not many.
Having the inlet changed and going that route isn't a bad way to go. Its no-where near as expensive as TB, but i've not seen anyone go mad on this style of engine.
I know Don Fulfords GSi (full Mantzel, Lexmaul exhaust manifold (HIGHLY recommended), Mantzel Cams, yet again, another "Mantzel Superchip", and 145bhp at the wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!
One thing i'd highly recommend again, is keeping the original airbox and add a better panel filter as COne filters suffer huge flat spots at low RPM. D5 was an absolute b1tch below 3000rpm, coughed and stuttered all over the place. Get it above that rpm and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Stripped Nova + 150bhp Inlet tuned C16XE engine = Belter track car. Can I have a go?

Cant keep air box as the nova doesnt have room - anyway ill be doing summit different with regards to the inlet tract and location of filter
Well im hoping for mid 14's with the inlet, chip/map. If i dont get that or i feel i can get more then ill put the WON kit on it

http://www.kerrypage.f2s.com/santa_pod_Jan06videos.htm
few vids on there if they still work.
Put the sound up load for nice rob_lee custom exhaust noise
Anyone who came with us that day will tell you about the exhaust (JR,FAD etc etc)
The best vid is the MR2 one.... you can hear the dump valve of it just as it goes past the camera!

you can get 15.7 with 138bhp and a full interior, or 181bhp and no interior. i think 15.7 is as fast as you can go if you have a red corsa tbh.

yeah need to be a little more south.. lol. shortly after chirstmas my c16xe's corsa should be on megasquirt and motorbike throttle bodies (worth a try for under £500) see what happens lol. last spec c16xe was 138.9bhp (smoking very very bad due to stem seals, with cat fitted and blowing exhaust) completely stripped out, carbon bucket seats, full cage, seam welded and strengthened... will chop all the s**t out of the loom when i put it back together.....
