I got myself PES6 for the ps2, only played it once so far as it was in French 
On the FM front, just finished my first season as WEst Ham, 14th in the end, lost the last 5 or so, had stupid amounts of injuries.
Also, the amount of Goals i've had disallowed is insanely annoying, and i must have set a record for yellow cards!

Struggling big time with Newcaslte. I'm in February and i'm currently 16th in the Prem, out of the FA Cup, but I am in the Final of the League Cup and still in the EURO Cup, so its not all bad.
But Luque, Martins, and Owen are all injured No decent strikers, so I loaned Fowler, scored on his debut, then suffered ligament damage Also got Given and Harper injured so Shane Supple, who I got from Ipswich for £60k, is my first choice keeper
Its hard to raise money too, i'm in debt and only had £1million to spend at the start of the season.
Bought Billy Jones from Crewe, as well as some other youngsters, no big names.

Billy slotted in nicely along side Reo-Coker in my West Ham team 
He scored a hat-trick away against Liverpool on his Debut won 3-2
Quality player...
Dario got sacked on mine though !!! Absolutely shocking, everyone knows he's gonna die in the job.

Sitting top of the league with Celtic half way through 1st season only lost 1 league game.
2nd in euro cup group with 2 games left been beaten twice away though.
Bought pep Guardiola as midfield back up and sold Pearson to Derby, having no money is shit

whoops, just posted bout ths in geek day. Oh well. Had it since friday and have have startd 3 games. One with Barca(currently 3rd 1/2 way thru), one with brum( not started league season yet) and one with worcester but its so hard with crap teams and no money. Best striker has 9 for finishing? Anyway, i think its alot better than '06 and the player interaction is a good feature

Yeah, i do like the player interaction.
Not sure how much difference it'll make, but the player Tutoring thing seems a good idea, i've got 4 of my squad tuturing U-18 players at the moment. In theory i guess it means they'll turn into replacements for my team. Who knows
Only thing that annoys me, like i said before is the amount of goals i'm getting disallowed, it's insanely annoying. Turns out to be 1 every 2 or 3 games it seems.
Oh, and the "controversial" decisions, where you get asked to comment, but the referee ALWAYS gets the decision right.

yeah, if you disagree then your board start to get annoyed with u also!
The tutoring is a very good feature, but be careful their personalities don't clash otherwis half the team gets angry!!
I hate the amount of late goals i keep conceding! its so frustrating!

i've been getting far too many disallowed goals as well, think that might be a program flaw tbh because it seems to be every few games like you say Cavey
Another thing as well i went in at half time 3 nil up so team talk i said go out and enjoy the rest of the game, next thing i know half the team are disillusioned with my team talks and 1 even told the media he hasn't played a game since 
I actually worry myself about how much i get into these management games btw

@ worrying! Its as close as most of us will ever get to managing so why not get into it?! I'm thinking i might start a game with tottenham tonite? Barca transfer fund was 4 million which is poor!

It's when you start forming opinions in real life based on what you have come across in the game
Willie Howie, Kim Kallstrom, Mark Kerr and all the other guys you used to buy in all the old champ man's you expect to be world beaters!
I've not came across anything yet, you start off in debt at Celtic with an already full wage budget so i just looked at a couple of free transfers and that was it.
Hopefully if i win the SPL and get through to the knockout stages of the Euro Cup i should have a bit of money for the start of season 2

if your going into the last ten mins of a game winning, change the team instructions to defensive and play longer balls, i've yet to concede a really late goal tbh

4 4 2 diamond attacking i think it is
choose who does your throw ins penalties and crosses as well in accordance with their ratings, i have Gravesen taking them from either side and i think he gets a few assists through long throws. Made the mistake of using default penalty taker for the first few months and missed about half of them
