leave the cams till next year at least as just had new cambelt so no point fitting another cambelt just for the sake of cams

yeah it wouldn't be soon, just thinking of things that i could do in the future
Mid 14's would be good to see with cams. What was the quickest it went down in when Fad had the car? Says in his garage 15@98mph. Was it a 15 dead or a 15.xx? With a terminal speed that high it should get high 14's with a good launch surely? And that was on the old engine was it not?

yea old engine ran a 15 dead. new engine was around 15.2. but he drives like a numpty

Fads car run a 15.03 os something with half pint driving on the old engine
its run a 15.2 or 3 on the new engine, but never in the same conditions and never with halfpint driving again, so its difficult to gauge

I think it will do quicker than that with a good launch and when i get fully used to the quickshift

Jr- The old engine was just standard wasn't it? If my blue one could do a 15.050 then this one can easily do better Although my old one was lighter

yes it was, rr at 165bhp at PE, was good engine, it died for a unknown reason though

the new engine has oversized pistons and a light flywheel. so not much difference to his old one. aint been ran with the light wheel or the quickshift etc

Cool, well im looking forward to seeing what power it produces at the rolling road day later on in the month. Then will be at Santa Pod to see what it can do

Just been out with my mate in his t40'd Nova GSI, and ......................... The throttle cable kept coming off at the tb end. Doh. The little metal bracket thing that keeps the tension of the cable keeps slipping over the black outer casing. So had to pull over and put it back on. Just needs a new cable. No biggie
