Me too. I'd try to keep it as standard as possible tbh.

Inner arches are painted, they are just painted black but gonna change that to white over winter.

1: white arches
2: GSI Vinyl to pillar and boot bottom
3: any rust - treat and repair
4: powercoat any parts underneath - i.e beams, arms, suspension components etc..

thats it for the minute.

All concours cars have it done. Like that red Corsa GSi with the tanned Carisma leather.

Would you smooth the inside of the arches? Just most cars have a very rough finish (not in the paint, the actual inner arches themselves are rough) so anything other than black paint would highlight that?

Nope, the Nova inner arches are metal. I've already painted them black inside and they look ace. Painted white will look better IMO.

this is with paint the arches white, you need to decide where the white ends, and the balck underseal starts, that is unless you do the whole underside white

I need to remove the fuel tank etc anyway so with my mates help I will paint the underside white, but obviously Polar white the same as the topside of the car, drop the exhaust off as well, is it difficult to fit new brake lines? I was looking at where the brake line goes into the rear drums and the nuts look a little worse for wear
