thats another good point.
I didnt know you had an SEH corsa though?
apparently, that nova ran a 14.8 at santa pod, which would be plenty quick enough for me for a while

Yeah my old car started life as 1.2 corsa, bought a £150 cavvy (went upmarket ) and shoved the engine in the corsa. Was pretty good fun, red LS with 15s, lowered 35mm and a 1.2 badge. Sleeeper
Got rid of it before I started uni though, needed something more reliable and easier on wallet for petrol

cant make a bad choice, depends what you want to do to it.
Polo looks ace, nova needs work to look good.
Polo needs tuning, nova needs a new engine.

thing is, the polo deserves to be mint, its a rare colour, its a rare car, with a bit of paint, it'll be awesome, but i can't afford to do it, so I'd end up just painting it with rattle cans
the nova is just a nova, so it wouldnt matter if it got a bit tatty round the edges, and it will be quicker.

depends what your after, if you want the car to be quick when you get it, not worry about car park dents etc and something very cheap to fix when bits go wrong then get the nova. for what it is its very good value for money
if your after something you plan on keeping for a while, putting aside and spending a few k on it then get the polo. its a much rarer and cooler car
