thats what Ive been saying for a while now Dave, OK our away form has been shocking, really really bad, but out of the 6 games we have played...Everton, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal which are our hardest away games possible. And the other two were Sheff Utd on the first game of the season, and Bolton which is never easy to go to.

Hoping we can go on a run now, would of been nice to include Arsenal in that, but if we win the majority up until xmas we'll be back up near the top.

Think you need to win them all another loss for Liverpool and they'll be written off imo.

I heard somewhere that to mount a decent title challenge these days you can't lose any more than 3 or 4 games. Think Liverpool are on 5 now

yeah, Fergie was quoted as saying more than 4 losses in a season means you cant win it.

05/06 Chelsea and Utd lost 5, Liverpool 6 and Arsenal 11.
04/05 Chelsea lost 1, Utd and Arsenal 5, Liverpool 14
03/04 Arsenal lost 0, Utd 7, Chelsea 9 and Liverpool 10
02/03 Utd lost 5, Arsenal 6, Chelsea 9 and Liverpool 10
01/02 Arsenal lost 3, Liverpool 6, Utd 7 Chelsea 13
00/01 Utd lost 6, Arsenal 8, Liverpool 9, Chelsea 10

no chance of winning it, more meant just getting back up into top 3 at most.

Liverpool will win at least one trophy this season, they always seem to pull it off.

You might be able to add to your European success with a UEFA Cup title next year

I actually dont think we will. Think we'll go fairly far in the Champions League (semi maybe) and maybe the next round in the Carling Cup, but dont think we'll bring a trophy in this season!

Depends on the draws for the FA Cup and Champ League I guess. I reckon you'll win something though.

'Fourth place is our target now, we have to fight for that. The Championship is probably too far away for us.' Still didnt say impossible though

He is right in a way, aim for 4th and get that then re-assess and see where we are and everyone around us.

Should be a good end to the season if Villa, Pompey, Bolton, Everton, and Liverpool are all fighting for 4th. Assuming Arsenal finish 3rd that is.

I doubt Pompey, Bolton and Everton will be there come the end of the season. Villa might be though.

We are only 4pts behind Arsenal ATM so not like they are running away from us! (granted they have one more game in hand!)

Yeah but it was only 6 years liverpool where banned for the rest of the english teams was 5 so only one more year.

"May 31 British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher put pressure upon the FA to withdraw English clubs from European competition,[11] and then two days later UEFA banned English clubs for "an indeterminate period of time". On June 6 FIFA extended the ban to all worldwide matches, but this was modified one week later to allow friendly matches to take place. The ban did not apply to the English national team. The ban was finally set to be ten years exclusion for Liverpool and all other English clubs were banned for five years. Liverpool in the end only served six years of the ten year ban."
