140 without cams on a bike carbed 1.4

no chance. maybe 120.

as for the ecu thing, dont bother with an expensive ecu setup with carbs. get an omex or lumenition ignition system and make your own loom. simple, cheap and effective. and as people have said, will not run on standard ecu.

the gotech isnt much money, and you can add fueling later if you decide to go tb's

and yes I would think 140 a little high more likely to be in the 130 region however as we have said before many times BHP figures are very speculative, it how it goes on the road that matters.

o nthe phone i was under the impression the bike carbs (often people get this confused) you were using were actually tb's and had injectors, hence my power quotes etc on the phone!

130-140 could be achievable IMO, remember jr had 136 with a manzel and cams, i think with the right set up 140 could be achieved..... but i see your point.

can we just clarify if they are r1 carbs with or without injectors.

hope to hear from you soon

See this is the thing are they throttle bodies or carbs?A yamaha r1 is a fuel injected bike so therefore they should be throttle bodies but they are down as carbs so im unsure what they are..My brother is getting on to them agin tomorrow to clarify this.

14 BHP was the lexmaul figure, offer a wider torque band than the mantzel box
