omfg robbo, what are you on??? 
in every match italy played 3 players stood out: pirlo, buffon and cannavarro, each time canavarro was head and shoulders above the other 2.
fyi, we beat czech, so qualifying top with out losing is not quite scraping through.
we were in no danger of losing to Oz, we just played that way cos we were down to 10 men.
we "wiped the floor" with ukrain
international matches dont come much better than italy v germany....deservidly we came out on top, thanks to cannavaro's immense performance
and we all saw the final, even match, but we held our nerve better to win it by scoring ALL 5 pens.
all tournament we conceded 2 goals, one an own goal, the other a penalty. i think thats sufficient enough to say italy had a good tournament captained by FC, and deserved to win it.
