Wanted to do something different, bit of a risk but im glad i did it.

going on the car tomoro only problem is i gotta wait to get some right size tyres so now will have to make do with the 205/55/15s that came with it.

i got them off a guy off here,

the tyres where good tred but they where 205/55/15 so they would have rubbed if i had its lowered again.

The alloys themselves where so mashed tho

Ah right, I would be wary of painting them myself, if they were mashed, incase the paint chipped easily.

Although I did paint all my arches and bumpers, but I didn't make a very good job of that Flame Red as well.

Well i got mine back to flame red by a respray but thats only because i did so much bodywork to it. my best advice on that front is just elbow grease, work hard with the tcut.

The refubing was so hard and long but you just gotta stick with it.

You gotta sand back all the paint and if there is any curbing or corrosion (shouldnt be corrosion on sxi alloys too new) then you have to sand that back too. Then just lots of time sent of the spraying like nice healthy coats of primer and dont spray in the cold.

UPDATE

Just got the new tyres on the cav matt black wheels and stuck them on the car. I am going to get the bolts done in matt black as well because they stand out so much.

I also went down to regal and got them to fit my powerflow 4 inch backbox. Loving the noise, not too much rumble just enough.

heres some pics.
