Nah mate we paid £10M for him, wouldn't like to see him leave but if there was an opportunity to double our money I think we would have to seriously consider it given our lack of funds and depleted squad

At the end of the day any speculation involving chelsea has got to be taken with a pinch of salt, they ain't doing aswell as last season so they are always going to be rumoured with players who are doing well and for stupid money most of the time.
I honestly cant see either Newcastle selling Martins as he's doing well or Chelsea going in for him.
Liverpool are also after ANOTHER goalkeeper, don't know why when we have Reina, Dudek and Carson already. Its the Italy U21 keeper, anyone know how good he is.

Dudek is out of contract at the end of the season anyway, and is over 30. So if he wanted to go he can buyout the last 6 months if he wanted.
Cant see him going until the summer though unless he gets a good offer from somewhere.

Supposed to be the next big thing, he played against Rangers in the Uefa cup and made 2 mistakes for goals and his kicking was suspect, i can only base my opinion on that and he looked poor.

We are keeping Carson, he tied himself down to a long term contract last summer. Is an amazing keeper, and has really done him good going on loan to Charlton.
We are being linked with Daniele Padelli, who is a 21yr old keeper for Sampdoria. The other Italian has signed a new deal with his club so looks like he isnt moving for a while now.
