Chelsea are quite clearly struggling and there is a long way to go until the end of the season my friend. Chelsea are 6 points behind Man Utd and think they can catch them, what's to stop us and Liverpool thinking we can catch Chelsea?
As said earlier in a U2U to my scouse friend, my end of season prediction is:
Man Utd
Liverpool
Arsenal
Chelsea.

Arsenal overturned 12 points in 97/98 season to be 4 points clear when we lifted the title (although eventually we won by 1 point)
We won't do that this year but we MUST challeneg for 2nd... 6 points isnt an awful lot!

Yes... we are toppling the top teams and grinding out more away results yet still gettong turned over by the poorer teams and the worse pitches etc... the home draws you can discount due to the 1st season in the Emirates but we have not been beaten by any decent teams (bar Bolton) yet we have lost 5 games!!!

IMO Dirk Kuyt signing of the summer!!!
Was very disappointed with his attitude and team committment for holland (particularly against portugal(?)) in WC but he is the complete opposit for liverpool, strong, never gives up and a decent finisher to boot!

Yeah, was an amazing signing. He wont get you a load and load of goals a season (Henry or Van Nist styleee) but the amount of work he does is great. With another top top class forward up there with him they would make an excellent pair.

This is where we will fall down Robbo. Our defence at times can look rather shoddy (Senderos in particular). Wenger needs to splash out on a decent central defender if we're to challenge for the title next season imo.

He won't though, he will see Djorou and Senderos as adequate defeners (which on their day they are but top defenders are a lot older than they are) but i dont think they have the consistency yet!

Jezza he will be used for cup games and whilst he is good I don't rate him that much. We can't rely on him to see us through if we're hit by injuries.
