Nope just inlet and exhaust. I can't understand why Nova's are so much faster!

To be honest... everyone would've been a tad off their best due to the weather coldness of the track.
Your car will do low 15's I reckon monster. was it stripped?

You reckon?! Did bog down abit on the start TBH. Yeh it's stripped weighing in at 910kg. We had strong wind conditions yesterday, not in our favour may I add. Only got budget crap tyres too!
Man this 1/4 mile lark is additive!

With the Monster vs 106/vts comments a couple of 1/10's of a second aren't gonna mean shit on the road.
good times though. When i go up i hope my 106 is in the low 15's. If not i'm gonna get annoyed!!! All my mates think it's be in the 16/17's!!!! Still haven't had a proper play with any of them though.

crap tyres don't help along with a cold track, but in the exact opposite, heat is shit too!!! At USC my mates DC5 was running 15.8's!!!! his first run was a 16!!!!!!

DC5 shouldn't be that quick down the 1/4 mile anyway, they weigh a lot.

They aren't slow!!! And don't weigh that much. I was just trying to point out that weather conditions can be a big factor when it comes to 1/4 mile times as a second is classed as a big amount, yet times can vary by this amount just due to weather.

A Std Nova SR's dry weight is well under 800kgs IIRC, which would explain why they are much faster up the 1/4.

My nova wasnt even stripped... it had rear seats removed and thats it.
Standard bar induction kit and exhaust.
15.2 it ran
My aim this year is to beat my old 2.0 16v time of 14.661 with my C16xe. I think it will considering it has lexmaul, FULLY stripped etc etc
