You S3 would oblitorate the 2.2 though, and i really mean destroy it...

Astra was catching the turbos, NA's we're left in 2nd, by 3rd they were already in the rear mirrors by a way..

Right, ive almost bought a car. Gonna sort out price and stuff tomorrow. Its a k reg Nova luxe+ 1.4 with 36k miles on it, magnex exhaust and a towbar. Hoping to get it for £375 with a years MOT

I think you miss the point ok from 120 upwards the S3/Astra may have it but from a standing start neither will get a look in. Plus neither will be direct and responsive out on track either. My Corsa used to leave Elises on the motorway but was nowhere near as much fun nor rewarding to drive. VX220 full package and who really wants to do 130+ on the roads anyway?

JR how dare you slag off my car I agree, its by no means the most involving car to drive and the majority of S3 drivers will agree. Its not a bad handling car, and there is loads of grip. I throw mine about everywhere and its never shown any signs of trying to kill me.

I love mine and for me there was'nt anything else really worth considering for the money.

Defo not the audi... how boring compared to the other two Nice car but boring when compared here.
