Ive owned two 106s and one corsa, the corsa had 1 problems, the first 106 never ever let me down after 95k miles use even, the last 106 has had countless problems. Who can judge really?

What random parts fell of your corsa?
wheel archs (on both), lower tray at the front, could pull the heater controls off with ease (on both), not to mention they both rusted to fuck underneath
Thats wear and tear, dont talk more shite by saying 106's or saxo's dont do that.
Have you tried not pulling the heater controls.
I know of a saxo and 106 who had constant problems with clutchs, joints, rattles, and general shitness.

i have tried to pull the knobs off yes.
the wheels archs on none of my 106's have fallen off, none of that other mechanical stuff either.
the engines are also stronger, the only downside is the gearbox's i admit are a bit weak

both cars are not amazingly well built, i have owned cars which have been known to have good build quality.
a corsa and saxo are equally as poorly built, and neither one is in the position to comment on build quality imo

Why pull bits off? Isnt that looking for trouble, thats taking tyre kicking up a level.
Throw a brick through the window, hit the headlamp with a hammer.
Just dont pull the heater knobs. Iv heard more storys of dodgy 106/saxo's than iv heard of corsa's. And i know about 4x more corsa owners.

My Corsa was better put together than any Saxo/106 I've ever been in.
Maybe the pre-97 cars weren't so good...

Not true, corsa's are nowhere near as badly built and cheap feeling as a sax/106

it does because people are trying imply a corsa is better built than something else, both cars in question are pretty poor, thats like me saying someones house is a sh!thole if i lived in a run down council house myself

But you're judging a whole model of car from experience of 2 you've owned?
You might just have got lucky with the 106s and unlucky with the Corsas.
How many people on here have had trouble with their 106s/Saxos?
Everyone who owned one, bar you, apprently.

Its nothing like that.
Corsa's can take more abuse than saxo's or 106's . Witnessed it myself.

not everyone, a few? like a few corsa people i have come across. My comment makes perfect sense.
People are saying "Its a saxo so its shit" basically.
Like i said a corsa is pretty shitty too, so its very hypocritical

i have owned, 2 corsa, 2 106's and a Seat Leon
I know what its like to have a well built car
a 106 is not well built
a corsa is not well built
If a corsa owner tries to say something is built crap that makes them a hypocrit
If a 106 owner tries to say something is built crap that makes them a hypocrit
End of!

Mate to be honest your fair enough, you know what a well built car is due to the leon, which no doubt about it , is a well built car.
But you have to just see that corsa's are that bit better built.

Didnt seem to rev high at all, so yeah possibly more to come driven properly.
A TDi North Supercharger kit on the K20A would be impressive on that saxo though, my mate has his CTR done, 292bhp
