The reason people have issues with not supporting teams where you are from is because back in the day before any of us were born probably and tv and radio didn't cover eveything people supported a local team because that is what they knew and it was good for the community etc.
Given the fact community no longer exists and the skill and technique involved and show of amazing players across differing clubs it's unsuprising people will support teams from non-local reas./
That is all
I think Charles Darwin would refer to this as evolution.... But yes I agree you have hit the nail on the head there perfectly chap

It's filmed at Millwalls ground if that helps- the first and second series used to be filmed at Vicarage Rd (watford fc ground)

I am an Aberdeen fan and have been all my life since I remember about when I was 4-5 years old..I don't know why as my dad was a rangers fan..But I have stuck with them through the good and the bad and would never change..
Also Man U have alwasy been my english team since when i was really young going down to my uncles in Bacup and he supported them..
Supported Aberdeen about 30 years and Man U about 25 years...

i dont remember 'choosing' a team as such, my dad has had season tickets for the last 30 years+ and used to follow man utd to every game home and abroad until me mum seen the end of that he tells me some great stories of going liverpool away and the likes
so since being a young lad, ive always been (more or less) every game i can get to
ive also been on granada reports, when i was about 5 because man utd got rid of the grey kit which we keep losing in after one season iirc
