Last time I checked, other than Chelsea, all the top clubs in this country have signed developing players from lesser clubs??

yes as i said ive read that. but TBH £18m was worth the sale, huddlestone WILL fill his role in time

Huddlestone is also only 21, carrick is now 25. It is funny how everyone slated him at spurs and now changed their view when hes at utd

I didnt rate him at Spurs either TBH!

And as Marc said...he has scored 2 this season and he isnt a holding midfielder that will break up the play. He can spread a pass, but he isnt in the same league as Scholes for that and thats the only reason he gets away with being shite at defending!

agreed, we also lack gerrard next to him, bellamy and kuyt upfront, the legend that is reina in goal, the list goes on.

you could live without Bellamy and Kuyt, and TBH Van Der Sar will be good for a few more seasons.
