Probably be easier / raise more money to ebay off the bits you have & give the proceeds to charity than to organise, send bits all over the country, paint it, put it together etc

And also any members sending bits, will pay the postage themselves, as an indirect donation to the charity.

Yes, especially if it breaks and hurts someone.

We'll put it through an MOT test before it's sold then, and have it checked by VOSA

Something they done once on the sidc to raise money for RB memorial was a drive from john 'o' Groats to lands end, meeting up with every different region along the way & raising money before/during /after the trip - although I didnt go on it I thought it was quite a good idea. Building a car will only involve a few folk & has many pitfalls.

its very impractical and will get left/forgotten about along the line.

Who has time to build this abortion of unwanted corsa parts? The parts will be worth more than the built 'car'.

It is daft. Who will own it, who will look after the money... who will this that anything

I do agree tho, in reality it's only gonna be one, maybe two people puttin in the time & effort putting it together.

Are you donating your time to this project with no return on it, beardy? or would it be a Corsasport & Vox-all joint venture?

Well.. it will just make corsasport and its members look good. Also its for charity so it doesnt matter what the parts are worth. Its up to the person who owns the parts if they want to give them away. Just look at how many people have offered a shell already. It does seem daft but its different, if no-one likes it then dont get involved basicaly, simple as. It might cost a bit of money to orginise and also get the shell to the mechanic but who cares? people have offered just money and thats a start. Its a good idea and i reckon it will take off. I dont do charitys my self but its somthing to do with a car and it will be interesting to see the progress and see what it sells for
