Spurs have won 3 in europe, Arsenal 2.

Arsenal have been runners up a few times too though, including in the worlds premier club competition. A competition Spurs have never/will never play in.

at the end of the day neither team has been massively successful in Europe.

Domestic competitions are a different kettle of fish though I'm sure you'd agree. I won't go on for fear of embarrassing you further.

but when i mentioned FA cup etc i was laughed at and told Europe is better than any domestic cup, so lets to whats seen as the top trophy in europe
