I have almost too many favourites to list, but if I absolutely had to choose one car, age and type irrelevant, above all others for sheer ear bending prowess, the one car that sounds nothing like anything else, it would have to be the V16 BRM, probably circa 1953.

To hear one at full chat is to know god.

Did it have a manual fuel pump? Were they drum brakes all round aswell?
