imo if you feel the need to look at your partner's phone then as someone said you are somewhat insecure and obviously the trust isn't there.

same here Dave, i'm ok now as i split with my ex in october time so got a good 5months or so, i rushed into it with her though and made myself believe things were ok. Next time i'm gonna wait until i meet someone who i actually get on, not one i have to pretend to get on with, might take a year or might take 5! never know!
Kathryn thats because he knows he has nothing to hide, theres people who dont like people checking there stuff because they want privacy and theres people who dont like people checking because they are guilty of something!

yeh Dave it was me, and its true. The people who accuse you of cheating, or check up on you 24/7 are the ones cheating themselves and because of that they think its happening to them, thing is they never get over it now. After being cheated on my trust dropped alot, gonna take a while to trust the next girl i meet.

You can delete messages, but if the person your texting keeps texting you sooner or later your other half will find out won't they
I had a mate who used to cheat on his gf but in his phone he would save girls names under boys names, she checked his phone once and found a text from who she thought was someone called "James" but the text said something about the good sex they had, so she dumped him and thought he had turned gay, was a classic, pretty sure some people think he is still!
