United were awesome last night!

On that kinda form knowone would beat them, could easily have been 10, lol

Very rare when every goal scored is a peach.

I love the champions league

You'll be in 2 Finals without doubt. Watford won't cause any problems, and AC Milan or Bayern Munich won't stop United.

I was there Probably the best match I've ever been to!!

It took us ages to get inside because there were so many people fighting with the Police! People were throwing bottles and beer cans at the horses and the riot Police kept pushing people back. In the end I told my mate to stick by me and I pushed my way through Got to our seats just in time to hear the end of the Rocky music before kick off, the place was packed so god knows where the rioters were going, if they ever had tickets! The place was absolutley buzzing and I couldn't believe the pace if the game, Carricks goal was a blinder and Smiths was amazing too, hes had a bit of stick off a few people so it was good that his first goal was a good one. It was like watching the Reading game where they had a mad few minutes, I kept saying to my mate lets get a 3rd, lets get a 4th! By the end I was shouting for 10 Agreed about Fletcher, he played really well, faultess. It was hard to believe this was the team that got beat by Portsmouth at the weekend, I really couldn't fault anyones performance. It was clear that the pace of our game was far too fast for Roma last night.

Yeah I agree with this also. I forgot to mention Fletcher but only for the fact that I was particularly impressed with how Carrick played whils watching the highlights

What was the atmosphere like with the roma fans etc etc- saw a clip on gmtv today whils I was getting ready for work and this roma fan was saying how he'd flown all this way but felt his safety was at risk so was just going to watch the match in a pub Was it really that bad Marc or just over exaggerated by all the press etc?

There were no Roma fans outside whilst the United fans were playing up, they were playing up with the Police. All the way to the ground there was glass on the floor and riot vans everywhere.

According to the news there were 15 arrests after fans had clashed with Roma fans.

When we got inside the Roma section was full.

Agreed carrick was the best player on the field imo although all played well.

I have to admit that is the biggest beatign i've watched in europe but roma didn't show any resolve at all.

Amazing stuff, i got a tingling feeling when Rooney scored the third, they smashed the shit out of Roma, well done. Utd for Champs League and Premiership, Chelsea for the FA Cup.
