you never mentioned jades case and i dont want anybody getting done for thinking that they could obstruct an emergency vehicle cos they saw it on corsasport

to be honest i wouldve thought common sense wouldve prevailed into thinking that what i said didnt actually cover someone purposely obstructing an emergency vehicle, of course there will be implications if you purposely obstruct an emergency vehicle, or dont move if you can do so with ease

would you still move if it meant curbing an alloy? not saying either way is right or wrong, just wondering if you were in a situation where an ambulane was steaming up behind you, but meant you had to ride a pavement which would scratch your alloy to buggery would you do it?

bearing in mind the ambulance could be saving someones life (worth it) or just be tending to a crank call (not worth it)

"so then buddy tell me are you or are you not required by law to move now that you know the facts?"

no, only if its reasonable, or yes only if its not unreasonable depending how you look at it, which is what i was suggesting all along.

i think jades ca e was unreasonable, hence wasnt entitled to move.

Theres so many idiots on here its unbeleivable.

If an emergency veichle comes up behind you with the lights going and siren on, Which one of you are so twisted spiteful little wankers that you wouldnt move?? Get a grip ffs.

Her mum moved because the Police told her too, Obviously an intimidating thing.

So stfu with this 'im wouldnt move' pish.

Hmmmm........... what have I started

We did move over into the parking space when the ambulance 1st arrived to let it through, but the driver still parked directly behind/at the side of us.

We weren't causing any obstruction at all, we were off the main road in a parking bay at this point but, the silly bint of a policewoman just wanted ALL the non emergency vehicles out the street hence she thought it would be a good idea to move us as well

If it was a normal 'see blue lights/hear sirens' as we were driving along, of course we would pull over no matter what.

Same here. As long as the ambulance is at its destination then who cares??

I would have told them to have it moved or id wait til it was ready to move.
