Yeah, thats what Id have thought too! Grip is always gonna be against you on the quarter in a mega powered FWD, reckon its the in gear times that will be awesome when youve actually got the power down!
Good work pal!

Awesome... is it not possible to launch in 2nd or possibly 3rd gear though?
1st gear seems far too short for that power... Your wasting time using 1st at all I think.
Once that car gets moving though- holy shit it was gone!

Oh, btw, whats the terminal speed accross the 1/4? I can't see it and not seen it posted, but then im tired still.
As Stu said, 1/4 mile really isn't the timed event for your car. I wonder how it would do in a 50-150mph timed thrash.
dribble giggle goo.

12.3 at 117mph
2.1 60ft
quickest TV = 127 jesus! What were the differences in the runs doing 120+ and the 110'ish runs?
it'll be a good race between the skyline and it if your up for it on the 24th
I was doing 12.6/7 at 109 before.... think i should be mid to low 12's now at around 114mph

127mph Terminal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, to put in perspective, Gaz was doing 121mph and running an 11.8, so its clearly quick enough, its just about getting it down.
Is your car stripped, or got the full interior in still.
Mind you, 117mph terminal isn't to be sniffed at either!!! Always a good sign of a fast 14 mile car in the terminal speed.
Again, 2.1 to 60ft isn't amazing either. With some hardcore rubber, thats an easy mid 11... The quickest corsa yet??????
(does it include sand in the cam cover as an optional performance enhancer).
And can I hask if you have an ebay resistor chip?

Maybe some proper track cut slicks the times could come right down.

it has some cut slicks ye fanny.
For good times it'll need some wrinkle drag slicks..... and new shafts afterwords
Crail isnt the best surface for quick times. Road tyres launch better of the line up there
I think i managed a 2.001 or something in my 2.0 corsa with plate diff and low psi cut slicks. Could have done better, but still
Skyline was doing 1.90 60fts on shite tyres and a crap clutch.... mehehe

Aye, dropping the nose to the floor, with some low psi tyres, high ass and skinny wheels on the back (weight).

Suspension setup is also very important to good launches. Bit i'm not going to pretend to know whats best for a FWD car.
Something that will help weight transfer over the fronts,
solid or hard rears wouldnt be good (i think).... the car would launch and transfer wight to back... susp would be too hard and cause from tyres to break traction :/

Nope, not got a clue, just every FWD USA event i've seen, they've always got radials on the front, and 2CV wheels on the back
Muppet, take it on a track day
