Aye it comes up with 'unable to read disc' please clean it..Disc is spotless..
starts of with it taking minutes inbetween races etc then parts of the graphics going etc..As said last copy worked ok for about 8 hrs of play, this one worked for about 10mins
I've got a portable i could shove in the dining room to hook up I suppose...
THinking I might get the console replaced and then see what happens..Hopefully I can take it to a boots store even though I bought it from boots online????

i reckon the manufacturing tolerances on the disks isnt great, sounds like some arent being burned properly

good point steve, ive heard of quite a few 360 games that have been, burnt, ripped, pressed slightly off and the 360 really doesnt like it

um i think its the actual xbox, as i said it happens with a load of my games and there all spotless.
same with my mates 2.

Reading alot of this these guys also have had updates etc on live and made no difference to the freezing issue...They haveTried loads of different fixes, different consoles etc to no avail. It deffo looks like a FM2 game problem...

its not a game problem as i havtn had a single one nor have many others. ITs more likely to be problems witht he disks and/or the dvd drive

My 360 has still froze a couple of times even with a new system board so it must be something to do with the game being more system intensive than the other games you're trying to play, hence the problem with only FM2.
Its worth ringing MS up even if you are out of warranty, the FM2 demo killed my 360 and it was 18 months old and they replaced the system board for a newer, quiter one for free, even paid for the shipping etc

Yep taking it back to Game in Kirkcaldy instead of Game in Glenrothes, maybe have a different batch...

got a new copy today, untried as yet..Guy in Game said they have had a few returned for the same problem.

Well mine has done it a few times. But today the game actaully just froze, no blank track or anything, just straight out froze lol
Turned it off, back on and no issues as of yet.
By bet is on cheap disks or dodgy pressing
