After his injury at Madrid he banged 7 in 14 games for Newcastle. Owen is a goalscorer, he'll come good where ever he is.

the only problem i have with owen is that he built his career by having lightning quick pace which IMHO he does not have anymore (hes still quick dont get me wrong).
But because he has played at the highest level he is now such a good finisher of the ball he does not need to rely on his pace as much... I think he could be just as good when hes back. I hope he does well.

You said it was bullshit spurs didn't want him now they've bought him the positive spin gets put on it you'd rather have him than Owen.

Fact is Owen has scored goals in the Premiership, La Liga, World Cups and European championships and is an automatic choice when fully fit, Bent has had 2 good seasons.

yes i said i dont want him there. i stand by that. we need another midfielder.

My point was someone said he is shit. i said i would rather him than owen. Doesnt mean i actually want him there? £17m is way too much.

its what i dont understand either,

start of the week we had 2 regualr forwards berb and keane

2 subs forwards - mido and defoe


we now have 5, 2 of which are young england internationals who will want to push for the team.
