I hope so, if he settles in quickly there's no reason why he can't hit 20 none at all with a midfield and some wingers (hopefully get another one in) to provide for him.
Tevez is similar to roony as mentioned bit fo a strange signing imo, and agreed man utd have pressure on after spending so big so far and realistically you have spent £36 in two seasons on two similar midfiieders and similar on two very young other players with no premiership experience. I reckon everyone will be chasing man utd this season again though.

Brilliant if it does happen. I'd love to see Tevez at Man United. United with Tevez in Europe alongside Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, Giggs, Scholes, Neville etc. No matter who you support you have to say thats some team!
Cosmotron/Cosmosis/Big Fat Gayer is right though, Tevez and Rooney are very similar players, they both duck down and scramble about (my way of describing their styles) , but I think thats maybe a good thing as you have two very good players that can come in and the team won't suffer for the change. I'm sure Cosmo knows where I'm coming from there

Yeah I get you Marc, but your telling me both Rooney and Tevez wouldnt expect to start EVERY game for you guys. They are both young lads and dont need to be rotated.

Yeah, you never know, they may be able to play alongside each other. I know players of a similar style in the same position doesn't always work but you never know.

I'd like to defend against those two TBH. Either one with someone with pace ar very dangerous. Both of them dropping deep as they do will mean both defence and midfield can defend against them!

Not forgetting the possibilities in defence:
Evra/Heinze ()
Rio
Vidic
Neville
Pique, if he stays
Lee - should be playing more.

yeah looks a bit dodgy, but if it does turn out that west ham dont own the player they should be relegated imo, as much as id sooner hav them in the prem than SUFC they dont deserve to be there, if the move is blocked by the prem, it will show they was breaking the rules
still something very dodgy for it to be even mentioned again

if tevez goes to utd they will be an awesome force next year imo, think bayern will be up there in europe aswell though.

Just Tevez this time. We bought Masch before WHU came out and told the Prem League that they own Tevez's contract.

Bayern arent in Europe for starters...CL anyway.
And I dont see what Tevez will add to United. He is a fantastic player, but he is too similar to Rooney to actually add anything to the team.

Cosmoshot do be quiet, there in no point guessing how the two would play together.

Why ever not?
They both like to drop deep and pick the ball up to play on from there. Both like to have a man further forward from them with pace to play the ball onto.
Im not saying they cant play together, or not do it well. But to suggest he would 'add' to the team is wrong when he offers nothing different to 'add' than Rooney already offers.
