I've not washed it yet Andy, I've been too busy buying more cleaning shit it's also a little moist today so it's not ideal weather for cleaning.

Don't worry, I'm not going 'detailing' mad, I just don't want to ruin a decent car by not looking after the paint

I understand that but I still think its a bit anal... Its only the last wee while evryones been raving about the 2 bucket method etc, so every car before that must need a respray.. lol

IMO as long as your careful when washing theres no harm in using sponge and 1 bucket..

A lot of these methods have been around for a very long time, its just that due to the popularity of sites like Detailing World they have become far more well known.

How?? Any car will look clean when wet.. especially in pictures.. My runaround was washed with a sponge and wash and wax and I guarantee you it looked amazing when it rained..

Detailing is for people with too much time/money on their hands... I spend a few hours at the weekend giving my car a decent clean and polish but some folk on here take it waaaaaaay too far..

When u have washed it m8, take it fro a quick drive!
will get rid of most water marks and just leave an easy few drops to get rid of!
wat dust it does pick up just clean of with a warm cloth!

wat i have dne for ages- swear bi it
