How do you know this though, it may well do. Sony might be putting as much effort into it? To be honest I'm a bit bored with Forza, its good but not amazing as everyone makes out and the graphics look like ps1 compared to them pics.

First i'll get a ps3 and gt5.
Next i'm building a racing rig from a stool, a brush handle, a car washing sponge and something I can find shaped like a wheel with the controller strapped to it.
Then i'll post vids here.

Half of those 'real life' pics look digitally enhanced. The only ones that look 'real' are some of the Ferrari pics, and the 350Z pics.

to be honest yes, if i bought a 360 or PS3 i expect the graphics on the games to be superb. FM2 certainly didn't bring anything new to the table. If turn 10 handed over the top notch graphics that was pushed around on development screenshots then it would be a different matter. GT5 however, if it goes to plan, looks like it could wipe the floor with the graphics, which is the main buying point of these new console.

graphics will keep your attention for about 30mins once you get used to them the only thing bringing you back to it will be the game play

Every single gt has kept me entertained for weeks, then years later when I remember it, weeks again.
I'm guessing this one will be the same.
pmsl at people who made a massive deal of how amazing the graphics in forza were, now backtracking and saying its all about gameplay (i'm not disputing forza is good btw), graphics don't matter.
Same story over and over again.

is it not even thinkable that sony are just producing hi resolution renders? or fmv to generate hype before the game.
im not under any doubt it probably will look better than FM, and i should bloody hope so its got years extra to work on it, by the time this comes out fm3 wont be long after.
Sony should have bought this game out the same time they released the ps3.

people need to understand, that all those GT5 pics are Rendered from FMV sequences, think about the amazing graphics on final fantasy cut scenes on PS1. i do hope GT5 is good, so forza gets better, but at the moment, forza is the daddy, what can gt5 do to catch up..

i agree with steve on this one. GTHD will push the boundaries in term of graphics but I doubt the gameplay will be as good.
