realistically you need to spend about £3k+ to get 170bhp from the pug/saxo 16v engines.
great fun when you get there though!

and then even more to make it reliable at high revs. that £3k is based on standard internals.

as a basis of a car, the vts/106 is better than the corsa. no question about.

theyre probably built about the same, theyre better to drive, handling is far far superior.
if it was my choice between a corsa gsi/sport or a vts/106 id have to go with the vts/106
a corsa gsi std vs a saxo/106std is a boring boring car to drive.

Maybe its down to driving expereince! GSI = slow compared to a VTS! could you handle the power penelope? Not having a dig but come on, be realistic

and your the one saying monster doesnt have a clue
iv had 2 106gtis and 1 corsa gsi, the gsi didnt come close in performance or handling mate
