It's a special fireplace that forces heat out forwards instead of just up, so the TV is pretty much at room temperature anyway.

Yeah they are, the Radius ones like you said
My dad has the Mordaunt-Short 500 series...
and they are better suited to the size of my mum's living room, so the Monitor Audio ones are going to be sold. I might have convinced them to use some of the money towards getting a REL sub off ebay to compliment the other speakers too

I was going to get a REL before my beastly Tannoy came up for sale. It's an absolute weapon.

Some of your setups are
Mines pretty cheap equipment apart from the Ps3.
15" Acoustic Solutions Tv which has a pc input socket so is both tv and pc screen.
I dont like the big tvs, nice to play with a high res pictures on pc without running low fps.
Scart connector sized freeview box.
80gb ps3
Hercules 250w 5:1 surrounds sound speakers. (not set up) bloody loud, nice gun shots with the bass
Low spec pc just able to get on here with it.
Gerber and m9
Vaseline
Its a bloody mess cant stand pine sh*t and the keyboard rail is like 2ft long Too many wires also.

Our FPS is the same as yours...
...and what's the point with the surround sound if they're all in front of you?

Is quite confusing for gaming with all speakers in front of me
No where to put the rear speakers, wires are really short and behind me is a wall
If I had a bigger screen I would need to run a higher res to keep the graphics looking nice and this would reduce Frames Per Second
Only have 70-120 fps as it is now.
I saw cod4 (ps3) on a 50inch tv and it looked poor, very blocky.
I dont know if you can adjust the ps3 settings like pc.
My room is quite a decent size but there is loads of car crap in here.

Luke, apart from the size of the room, your set up is pretty incredible, some serious £££ in that room I personally find the wall hangings a bit too 'Posh TV Showroom' but its obv your choice, but they look alright in black and blend with the rest

Unfortunately dude, I can't change the size of the room. I love the signs and all the AV geeks comment on them too. Cheers for your comment -- it has cost me quite a bit (scary when adding it up).

mines shit, some ikea stainless and glass stand, xbox 360 with dvd's and games roughly stacked underneath.
but the good bit is a 37" samsung series 5 and nifty little dvd/surround sound that apaarantly communicate to make it easier (but just complicates things)

Well mines more hi fi based, stereo
I have a Sony CDP-XB930 CD player (£350 ish few years ago!), NAD C350 Integrated amp, Yamaha DSP-E492 AV Processor, and a PS3. Oh and homemade speakers of my own design a mix of Vifa and Seas Excel drivers (transmission line, series crossover, £450 spent on the components themselves). And a Panasonic LCD HD TV of the 32" variety.
I am thinking of tossing the Yam processor as it doesn't actually do anything in favour of a 150watt NAD C272 Power amp
Oh the speakers aren't finished yet, not too sure what colour to go for
