added some 10mm spacers to the front wheels today, its more of a cosmetic thing and becasue we had them in at work it was cheap enough to just give them a try

Seriously how thick is it? I suppose for £10 it saves replacing the header tank later on in its life

i think the stone chips with the air pods are just a thing you get with these cars, have done 3 vx 220`s now, did the air pods on all of them and on the 3rd one we put some laquer which is ment to me stone chip resistant.
It seems to of worked pretty well but itsa still not a miricle cure but prevents alot of them, only down side is it pricey and u cant flat and polish it.

for the pods to be saded, primed, painted and then using the laquer was about £250 i think.
most of the cost is in the laquer though, well the hardener to be precise.

but its not a miricle cure, u still get some chips but it just stops the main amount of them, personally would get the clear tape stuff as chris said!

ah ok. Do we know what sort of money that costs? id like to get the front done with it as well, its only done 11k miles but its 10 times worse than my old corsa that had about 85k miles on it
