big update: its been off the road since trax last year untill april having more work done, mainly for track use and some cosmetic engine bay work.
quaife ATB diff
paddle clutch
powerflex bushes (black ones)
rear strut brace
gearbox out ready for diff fitting
i then decided to take the engine out and rebuild it again with new shells and a z20let oil pump.
whilst the engine was out i got excited with a welder and proceeded to weld up the inner arches which i thought was a bad idea half way through welding but it turned out ok in the end
i also removed the battery, the brake pipes and all the wiring to try abit of a VAG look just got to move the airfilter now.

as i have now started using the car for track ive decided to go for a cage, seats and harnesses with stripped out rear i have ordered the cage, i have yet to order the seats. will update when its all here.
i have stripped it out ready though
ive also set the camber up on the front and had four wheel tracking done which has made a hell of a difference
you can see some negative camber on the front
more to follow as it happens

Looks Awsome M8 Now you just have to remember to keep clean before you get into it every time you have it in bits....(Which is a lot) You grease monkey!lol
Now you need to get on the case to get the cage delivered on time........Tick tock tick tock........the track day clock is ticking
Oh and where has the roof lining gone?

been busy again fitting the cage i got in july, its been in the car since but wasnt supported by anything was just bolted to the floor as i was in a rush to get it to a track day.
so i have taken the dash and most of the interior out again to make to supports for the cage to sit on, just incase i ever have to use it
i have also cut all of the rear seat brackets out
some pics more as it happens
