either one of those Atoms...... or....
if i built it up myself....
a 4x4 turbo'd nova. Thatd be awesome.
Probs a mint mk1
Fully stripped out with fibreglass boot and bonnet, custom fibreglass front quarters, onboard engine management
straight cut gearbox like btcc style - short ratio for stupid acceleration (i wonder if you can mod it to 4x4, even if you cant i still want one)
full 2.5 inch system
mini dash
rally weight bucket seats
perspex windows
coilovers
some stupidly lightweight compomotive racing alloys
There you. I reckon it'd be a stonker!
Either bright white, or in vauxhall btcc colours.
edit - and you cant put me down becaue you said corsa and LET mofo!

Dax Rush with Hayabusa turbo lump. s/c bike engine would be more of a struggle for a bike engine, wouldnt it?
Tuned E30 M3, having seen these at the Brands Hatch track day, they are immensely fast on standard engines!
Or a Radical/Ultima.

911's are a very difficult car to track to be honest, when I was working at PARR motorsport I found out, you had break quite heavily with the 996 GT3's before a corner just to get some weight down to the front so it will corner properly. I would say its all down to what you want to compete in really.

I have been planning a car for track days..
Something along the lines of
Porsche 944:
Stripped, caged, brakes, suspension, fiberglass pannels etc etc
Audi S4 2.7 bi turbo lump sat up front... 944 turbo g/box at the rear
As the engine is an ally one should still maintain around 50/50 weight distribution, weigh under one tonne, and be rwd kicking out about 350 bhp...

would have to be a M3 CSL but make all the outer panels out of carbon and leave them in the carbon weave!
Also fit a wopping great big screwcharger to it, bit like a super charger but better, also get some really lightweight bbs wheels, full race cage and striped out!
