rooney, terry, ferdinand, lampard, gerrard and ashley cole are all world class players imo. i'm sure there are some i have missed aswell, its just that they don't gel well as a team. if england could get a good team then they would challenge for major honours as it is england don't compete with the likes of brazil, france italy, germany and argentina.

If your going to include Ashley Cole and Ferdinand then you have to include Beckham and Owen too

So IMO this means (on their day)...Terry, Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham, Rooney and Owen. And their are a few younger ones who have the possibility of getting on this list.
no ferdinand cosmo?

And given his name is McClaren I think its fairly obvious he is in cahoots with you Scots to lower our team to your national teams level.
you have blamed your manager 10 years

yes i agree, vidic is a brilliant player, but rio keeps your beloved carragher out of the team, and no-one in the world is better than him
rio has that quality and class that most teams would love to have, makes things look easy, confident, excellent defender, always in the right places etc

dont bring Carra vs Rio into this thread, its heated enough
He also makes plenty of mistakes and is a coke head.

Ive no problem with a foreign manager if he is proven at the top level and has some certain attributes. If that level of English boss isnt about then so be it.
Sven wasnt a bad choice at first, he did have a proven record at the top, he was just kept about too long after it was clear he wasnt right. Yes someone with passion is needed, but if they have fuck all tactical knowledge or ideas on how to handle the best of the best when it comes to players then no amount of passion would make up for it.

Yup The people that don't watch the league judge it as being shit.
Are you honestly saying it is a good league? Do you honestly think any of the teams other than Cetic, Rangers and maybe Hearts would hold their own in the Premier League? Not baiting just wondering
Nah I'm not saying it's a good league as such, it just seems that everytime an English team comes up against any Scottish ones, they get a lot better game than they bargained for mate

Irn Bru. Reason it isn't called Iron Bru/brew is because it contains no Iron, and isn't Brewed so would be false advertisement

And I also agree with you lot saying that you obviously have better players, it is a foregone conclusion. But time and again it's been proven, World Class players don't always make a world class team. With the players you have you should be in the Top 3 on the planet ffs
