so whats the difference between this and a normal open cone induction kit? removing that plastic inlet pipe wont make much difference

have you ever removed one of these pipes and looked at the top end of it where it comes round the inlet manifold to the airbox? if not, go look at one and then you will realise why this mod works so well.

Steve, that inlet pipe is about 3 foot long and full of bends, TBF, replacing it with a restriction free setup is bound to do something.

I never got round to doing it on mine, but it was on the list, I would have been able to do a before and after comparison too, but can't now

is this real? how much more bhp would i get on my 1.6?. is this with a standard air box or an open induction kit. where do u put the sock ?
