So, I'm now in.
The move went well, they got to us at 9:30am and had the lorry packed by 11:30, then went for some lunch while we waited for the phone calls, the first came at 12, then the one saying we could move in came about 30 mins later.
They'd unpacked the lorry and got everything in here by half past 3!
So that was 3 weeks ago , it's taken BT that long to sort the broadband out, they've been utterly, utterly useless, saying we'd not ordered anything, then telling us we'd made 2 orders so none were sent, then that the line still hadn't cleared, then they'd made a processing error and it was going to be another 5 days, but finally it's working.
I've got loads of new pics, but I'm not happy with the way they've been resized by my garage, so I'm going to upload them somewhere else, or resize them on my laptop first.
Here's one of one of the views though, with something in which people from Northampton will know
It's so cool, having the living room upstairs is much better, and it's REALLY quiet here, even though it's in the older, busier part of the village.

No. I think it's a fairly accurate prediction.

I read this thread and at first thought it was a really nice pad for him and a mate. I would prefere a bigger house living with parents, so i can escape them.

I have no job though Paul, I can't afford to move out, and even if I could, I wouldn't bother because it's impossible to buy a house round here for less than £150k.
This way, I get to live in a decent house, my mum doesn't piss me off anyway, and I never have mates round, so I don't even need my own space.
If I did, I'd have a sofa in my bedroom, it's big enough
It's no different to a house really, it doesn't feel like a flat at all, and I had no problem living in my old house with my mum, it's the same here.
