Ive just been working for DHL over xmas and they will randomly turn up to collect it, thats how they work. I sent a parcel through a lad similair to this but on Astra Sport, the xbox was broke in transit and was supposedly insured by the time the contact went from the buyer to me to him to DHL there was nothing that could be done about it and the insurance was a waste of time!

they should give you a day just not a time thats the way this works i use a seller on ebay for sending my stuff when i post heavy things is 5.99 and goes parcel force 48 hour service which is 27.99 on the web lol but i dont send car parts though
