proper diy project. nice to see.
what engine are you goin to use now? i think you should go breakers and get a 2.5v6 from a veccy. would make it a proper pickup!
is there any laws about the posistioning of the rear lights?

Not sure about the engine, yet, just basically whatever comes along cheap to get it moving for now!
I think there are laws but i've had 2 mot men look at it and they both said they thought it was ok and wud pass it.

yea the lid will close over the whole pickup bit so you can store stuff in there and it wont get wet. There wont be an opening boot as such
Looking great btw mate. Love the colour, looks superb

What a cool project haha!
That rear numberplate light in the bumper is £2.14 from Vaux. A new one will look so much better

awesome project
for the lift up lid, it would be awesome if you could get it to work on gas struts like the bonnet lifters you get.

tigra lights i would not have done, main reason is if you take the boot off a tigra it looks so much petter as a pick up
besides that it looks good, just not keen on the rear lights - would almost look factory built if it had the proper lights and a rear window
dont bother with a LET, it will rip it apart

may have to bob up to your work sometime for a proper nosey at it, if you dont mind
Do it fella. It looks great in the flesh, I was impressed with the 2 wings made into one. At first I thought he'd just stuck Tigra wings on.
