on my insurance certificate says maximum value £8000 everything in declared on car............ mods suspentions doors ICE, etc

Might be able to get them to contribute to the repair costs then...Did they inform you that when you took out the contract with them that there wasnt actually and CCTV cameras in the compound?

That's utterly despicable. Like robbing someone at knifepoint then stabbing them anyway just for the fun of it.
I bet if they ever mess with someone who puts them under their families will go on about what lovely people they were and how they never deserved their fate.
Every time I see something like this it reminds me why I don't want to live in the UK anymore.
