Update: Throttle bodies are now on Thanks to Warren.g for selling me them , having some teething issues with injectors and the FPR, but apart from that all I can say is Dave A and The lads at Vsport pulled a blinder of a shift to get them on the car and working, Many many thanks to Vsport, I owe the lads a few pints now

Pics of the Conversion:

Just need to sort out injectors, tidy up the wiring, and put the red cam cover on

oohh...then some pleb in a Ford Focus decided to crash into my mates MG ZS

Hope it isnt a write off.

Yeah mate, Plan on getting that cam cover on, and hopefully hiding as much of the wires as possible, then possibly red hoses.

It was dyno'd at 119bhp iirc, but the fueling was miles out, far to lean.

up the fuel pressure to 3.5bar, thats what i was running, until i put my cams in, then i upped it to 4bar

you can squash the standard fpr to give more fuel pressure

how much torque? mine made a very disappointing 101lbtf

are you running the car without the induction manifold?

get a proper FPR not a FSE (pbv's are crap)

search on forums for FSE installation guide..

went something like

- unpack PBV
- grab in one hand
- open lid of bin
- drop PBV in the bin
- close lid

Yes the video was with the 20xe Injectors, which i think were gummed up anyway, must be getting on for a few years now, 1.6 injectors are better, but needs a higher fuel pressure, about 3.5 to 4.0 bar warren?

Forget the buckets etc for the time being in my opinion.
Proper management is a must because all those tb's are currently doing is making a nice noise
Proper management will see the gains you'd expect from throttle bodies.
