Keano trivia
Keano supported Spurs as a kid although he doesn't like admitting it. (Who can blame him?) His hero was Glen Hoddle.
and again

Have you read Keane's autobiography Edd? please don't try and teach me about my own club and it's supporters.
direct quote from the man himself
He said: "It was no contest, I supported Spurs as a kid but the rest of my family were United daft. I don't think I would have a family left if I'd signed for them."
I've read his autobiography
His English team was Spurs but he notes every single kid in Ireland growing up has an interest in Celtic. Remember him turning down Real Madrid who were offering similar wages to sit on 40k a week with us, half of his United earning. Wonder why that was, must have been the lure of our fantastic league eh

Did you think a 35 year old man was going to be able to produce the same kind of stuff he had been a decade previously?

so because he was old he can give poor performances but have them classed as good ones only because he's getting on a bit

not true i know quite a few people from the republic and they dont have an interest in celtic
also maybe it was to do with the fact that it was on the same island

That wasn't my opinion that was another direct quote from his book. Having spent 2 months of every year in the Republic from the age of about 10 up until fairly recently i can tell you most support Man United these days, mostly to do with the Keane effect.

Edd, everyone knows that Roy Keane is a Celtic fan. His English team may have been Spurs but he's always been a Celtic fan! Roy Keane, John O'Shea and Robbie Keane were all at the 2003 UEFA cup final in the Celtic end. I dont think they were there to support Porto!

Truth be told Keane sat pished with his top off and singing the tunes with the rest of us, typical bullshit line you hear on the internet but 'my mate' was sat about 5 rows in front of him

IMO best player that has left SPL - EPL has been Van Bronckhorst.
Erned his place at Arsenal then switched to Barcs and kept his place there for seasons

I though he was a great player with us but once we he stated was leaving i think his performances were poor tbh, fair play he was homesick but he left for a year then joined Everton, couldnt have been that bad. I'm glad to see how well he is doing in the premiership now though

Are we judging who was best after leaving the Scottish league to join the English 1 here or who has become most succesful after they've left England?
If we go further back Kenny Dalglish wins hands down.
