agreed
Was suggested and many voted. Lisa didn't want a meet in Liverpool so we cannot have one. She tried to compromise with Wirral which she never turned up to.
I've not been to a meet since. It's not about one person, it's about a group. Not sure i'll bother in future.

I'm quite sure in my many conversations with Lisa, we've discussed Liverpool a number of times and each time I've been a little bit stuck coming up with a suitable venue. If you have any ideas for a pub in Liverpool which is suitable then you are quite welcome to suggest one.
The two on the Two-for-One list which we agreed to use are the Bakers Dozen in Netherton and the Grapes in Prescott. I've been to both and I don't think it's a good idea.
She didn't turn up to that one because if you remember correctly her car was off the road and she also was preparing to move house.
I think you even hinting that there is even a problem here is quite audacious and I'm rather taken aback that you've even made that suggestion.
This has NEVER been about one person and quite how you're evidencing what you are suggesting I'm entirely unclear. I can only assume that YOUR lack of support for meets has caused you to be so out of touch that you are making outlandish remarks such as that without appreciating the full consequences of what you are saying.

Of course.
Andrew there is no where in Liverpool with a half decent area with a nice pub, you should know that.
Come to the meets and you suggest places other than liverpool that your willing to travel to.
Again the monthly meets are not supposed to be situated on everyones garden path, they're supposed to be a number of places so we all can get to know one and other, and enjoy the hobby that we all share.

No that pub was shite.
Both service and food
And as been stated before, and you should know you have to come to a meet before you suggest

Post code was right for us, I still drove past tho
Although I was the only 1 that didn't have sat nav, and I got us about 200 yards past cos I didn't notice the pub. The others had sat nav, one thought it was in Liverpool One didn't have a charger and the battery was low, and the other one didn't recognise the post code, I am just the ultimate sat nav-ish

That's what I did
I've got sat nav but don't like it, it's a really shit one, it's tried to take me the wrong way down one way streets it takes you off down random side roads, the kind were if there's a car parked up it's as good as blocked it's just a pain so I avoid using it unless I've gotta be somewhere for a certain time, if I can get there anytime I'll leave it at home and have fun getting lost then eventually find my way. You always seem to find brilliant roads that way

Ian, I'm not going to get into a virtual argument over something that is a waste of good time.
I've raised my thoughts, they are either taken a board or ignored. Not something i'll lose sleep over.

Don't think it was down to the pub, although when I got there there was about 2 spaces left on the carpark, so didn't really seem ideal
