Did that win you anything other than a false sense of belief? You beat us fair and square at Ibrox, the other 2 meant jack.

No Old Firm game means jack, i know where your coming from because the league was won but we want to win every game against Celtic, like you would against Rangers

I'm only repeating what Wattie said in an interview last week.

You had a wee chat with tango baws have you?
He doesn't ever appear to have the fear of god in him to me, in fact the exact opposite tbh.

A date has yet to be finalised for the top of the table clash.
Rangers' league game against St Mirren last Tuesday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and the SPL admitted the fixture pile-up was a concern.
"We are going to look at it first thing on Monday and see what we can do," Blair said.
"Obviously there is serious fixture congestion involving Rangers at the moment.
"Rangers and Celtic are both heavily involved in a number of competitions. It's quite challenging to fit everything in."
The Ibrox club face Gretna at Fir Park on 16 January, before a trip to face Inverness on 20 January, then a home match against St Mirren on 26 January and a CIS Cup semi-final against Hearts on the 30th.
Rangers are due to face Celtic at Ibrox on SPL duty on 29 March and it is unclear whether there will be two Old Firm games in quick succession.

2 games against Barca and 2 against Rangers in the space of a month, magic that.

I wasn't particularly interesed in watching the bile that spills from the stands at an old firm game a couple of days after a former player tragically passed away tbh

Perhaps... that said, people die everyday...
Not former players admittedly although key word there, IMO, is former...

I'm surprised they didn't just play the game with a minutes silence etc, but hey ho!

The main point was our top scorer was one of his best mates and almost the entire squad knew him either directly or indirectly. 100% the correct decision in my book but i can see where the basis of the other side of the argument is coming from.

It was the right decision to postpone the old firm game, Scott McDonald & Lee McCulloch both played with him and i'm sure alot of the players wouldn't have been able to focus on the game.
I dont know why we dont just have a winter break, its a pain in the arse all the games being postponed, not just Rangers but there are so many games called off due to the weather up here
2-3 week break, players come back fresh and we dont have games called off, simple

To compensate for the break we could introduce a few midweek 7.30 kick off during the warmer months, i for one think it would make sence

i agree daz - would make a lot more sense than this
Few more mid-week games in the first few months of the season
Small winter break

The governing bodies are bumbling baffoons, the winter break is the 1 thing the SPL had that was the envy of every top league in Europe and we knew it, so obviously the correct decision was to shaft the idea

We should start a petition, lol
I actually think it would be good though going to Ibrox/Celtic Park on a warm summer night, i used to go to ibrox in shorts at the start of the season

It would ruin Sports Day if they were friends, we need the banter, it gets me through my day at work
