I dont think we have beat them in the Premiership for 4 or 5 seasons, possibly more.
5yrs ago I would probably agree with you, as under Houllier we had good results aginst top sides and stuggled to break down the lower sides who put 11 men behind the ball. Its not the case anymore though.
Our problem is that we control games, have more of the ball and create chances (more shots on goal than any other team ATM), we just dont convert those chances as other than Torres our forwards just arent good enough.

Against lower placed teams you don't take them seriously though.
How so? Take a look at the amount of possession we have. The amount of shots on and off target. All these figures are huge, we just dont put the ball in the back of the net.

No, as we have no one else better on the bench. Kuyt/Crouch/Voronin are all of equal quality so makes no difference which one he plays.

Whole team or upfront?
Upfront I would say Torres and Kuyt.

Souness i never know how he keeps getting jobs.
Dalglish is a celver man always bails after he wins something.
How you stuck with Roy on his own for 4 years and then joint manager for a few months.

Dalglish left us due to health reasons, with every interview Ive read with past players saying he just never recovered from the Hilsborough disaster when he was the boss.
And Evans was just a mistake, and typical Liverpool actions of sticking with a losing manager for too long (Houllier stayed for atleast 1 season too long).

Probably what Iceman posted. Possibly with Babel on the LW instead of Kewell though.

Not slagging Dalglish off I think he is a great manager and one of the most gifted british players of all time.

Was saying this to my mate the other day as he was complaining about not being able to buy players for "big" money.
I pointed out that if you stop wasting £8/9m here & there on players that simply aint good enough, you'd be able to buy 2/3 players for £20m+ and be in a much stronger standng to win the league.

I said at the time, maybe not on here, can't remember, that these two were buying the club as a business decision and not as football fans.
I'm not a fan, obviously!!! But the sooner you get rid of them the better. To come in and have this uncertainty over Benitez is rediculous. You may be shite in the league but hes got you European and Cup success.

My perspective, I am keen not to make this takeover bid the be all and end all as the americans may well not sell, and even if we do get taken over by DIC we can't foresee exactly how much interest they will have in day to day running.
I am disgusted in the way hicks has gone abotu his business and would like rid of him but as cosmo says I am not sure A. whether DIC and gillet working together would work, too many cultural differences probably B. whether DIC will want a part share.
It seems to be the best option with DIC in terms of proper backing but I am not going to get my hopes up.
Got offered a ticket for monday but can't go

Hes just bitter because Liverpools future is uncertain, what with them having boardroom issues, lack of league trophys and possible debt etc.

We havent been in a position to do this though, as Rafa has totally had to rebuild the squad in the last 3 years after Houllier. So its not like he has been there aslone as Wenger or Fergie where they have done the squad building and only need to buy the 1 or 2 players if needs be.
I would say we are just about getting to that position with Rafa, and this summer would be looking to buy in just a few players of higher quality...its just if he gets that backing.

The future isnt uncertain, if G&H dont sell then they will only make money from investing in both a stadium and in the playing squad - it just may not be with Rafa at the helm which is my main worry. The debt wont be placed on the club - or atleast only the stadium debt will be in a similar way to Arsenal...Hicks couldnt get his way with putting it on the club itself as the banks wanted more security and Gillett wasnt up for it.
