hello mate, where you was on about the arch sticking out underneath the fibreglass arch, that is because your standard stell arch is not round, the wide arch kit is. Its designed for big wheels. By cutting it and shaping it to the old arch its going to look squareish. Also when you get a fibreglass kit, you do have to cut n trial fit it until its a perfect fit, As for the fibreglass/bondo/body filler, you do have to key up ya paint work, to be fair fibreglass and filler should be on bear metal. If i was you id start again to be fair cause this isnt the worst looking kit in the world. Also the end result will be better if you do the arches again. Not slagging you off in anyway, but your going to smooth it all in, paint it, then realise it looks wrong n then you go over a sppedbump and the full lot falls off. Start again mate

hey scotty its the wrong kit that one above...well different arch kit. He got it off ebay....1st mistake. But hey youll learn bye them. Hope you didnt pay much for it tho cause its actually f****d now. Take it all off and start again...oh i couldnt help noticing that youve bonded the rear bumper on aswell as screwing it....You do realise its to low...My kit was just like it, you just trim it to size. Now it fits perfectly. Just start again bud. Get a caramac wheel on the sealer/bondo as you havent keyed underneath of it...should just come off easily. U2U if you have n e problems mate. ID be happy to help......Thats what were meant to be here for

the arches will more then likely be fine....you have to always cut out abit of your arch. Every wide arch kit ive done ive had to. Also you will never get an arch that fits perfectly on, you have to trim and trial fit, then fit it, then if there are a few gaps......i seal from underneath, wipe excess from top, then a little bit of fibreglass matt n filler if needs b. Had a kit before where got the arch fitting nearly perfect, sealed underneath and got a perfect blend with high build. Had that car years, never had a prblem with it.

What youve done by cutting the kit up is given yourself so much more work to do, just to get it looking average.

Also your going to have problems gettin your fibreglass front to bond to your plastic top of your old bumper, Fibreglass will eventually crack of plastic, especially if you catch your bumper.

Steve you must buy filler in bulk

I'll avoid the parkwood area in fear of choking on sanded filler particles in the air
